What Mnemethos is
Mnemethos is the philosophy that drives me — BeingSeight. It is not a feature of any tool I build. It is my stance as a builder.
The Greek root μνήμη (mnēmē) means memory — but not memory as storage. Memory as the act of holding something in mind long enough to act on it. The Greek poets did not think of memory as a room you put things in. They thought of it as a discipline you practiced.
The suffix -θεός (-theos) means "of the divine" or "relating to the gods" — used in compounds like entheos ("full of the god") and theios ("of or from the divine"). Mnemethos, then, is something like: the making-divine of memory — the craft of treating what you hold in mind as worthy of care.
Every tool, software, and system I create is driven by one of four forces: a genuine NEED, a measurable IMPACT, my MNEMETHOS, or — most importantly — my KICK.
Of these four, Mnemethos and KICK are the forces that define me — before any tool, before any line of code, before any build. They are the most important parts of my life. Need and Impact are what show up downstream, naturally, when you live by them.
Who I am
I build at the intersection of systems that think, systems that trust, and systems that belong to everyone.

These are the domains where the forces manifest — not the source of them. The source is the philosophy. The work is the surface it shows up on.
Being Zetetic is one such surface — a learning protocol that exists because Mnemethos and KICK demanded it be made.
The Book: Mnemethos
This is not a book about building. It is not a book about code, tools, or systems.
Mnemethos — the full-length work — is about the real-world psychological impact of the concept on an individual. What happens to a person who lives by the philosophy. How it reshapes memory, attention, action, and purpose. What it costs. What it returns.
The manuscript is in its final stretch.

Why anything exists
Every tool, every system, every line of code I ship — each one was seeded by exactly one of four forces:
NEED — a gap in the world that demanded filling.
IMPACT — a lever that could move something that mattered.
MNEMETHOS — the philosophy itself, demanding to be made real.
KICK — the feeling that a thing must exist, because imagining it is not enough.
Any one of these is enough. Mnemethos and KICK are the forces that define me — even before development, even beyond building. They are the most important parts of my life. Need and Impact are what follow, downstream, when you live by them. They arrive on their own.
KICK
KICK is the primary force in my life. Not just in building — in everything.
It is the feeling that a thing must exist, must be done, must be lived through. It arrives before reason. Before validation. Before I know whether it will work.
KICK is the most important part of my life — beside development, beside tools, beside any project. It is the compass. Need and Impact are just what you find when you follow it far enough.
Mnemethos is the philosophy that named it. KICK is the engine that runs on it.
Coda
If anything I've built has helped you, the best way to reach me is below. Or wait for the book — it says it all, in the only place I could say it: the life of a person who has lived by Mnemethos.
